ANGER MANAGEMENT SEMINAR AT IMX AUTO GROUP
Is anger good or bad? Can you control your anger? How to manage your anger? The participants of the educational seminar explored the immeasurable world of Anger Management at IMX Auto Group gallery.
“Anger is an emotion characterized by antagonism toward someone or something you feel has deliberately done you wrong. Anger can give you a way to express your feelings, or motivate you to find solutions to problem. But excessive anger can cause problems”.
The review of the general definition of the well-known emotion was followed by active discussion of anger management tips and techniques such as taking a deep breath, reducing expectations, trying to find some humor in the situation, taking brakes, practicing a positive self-talk and trying to be creative. The seminar was interesting, interactive and full of positive energy.
All participants agreed that there is a lot deeply hidden under the anger. The slide with anger iceberg photo demonstrating the range of emotions and feelings under the anger got significant attention. The family therapist Ms. Gourgian emphasized that anger is trying to tell us something. There is always a reason behind the anger and we are the only one who is responsible for our life, our happiness and our emotions. First and foremost we need to analyze and recognize the actual reason of our anger and then take steps to fix it. As always, the seminar took longer than it was planned. Participants were determined to be more mindful, get concentrated on their life and be open for change.
